| How
to Volunteer
The Northwest Folklife Festival is one of North America's
largest free traditional and ethnic arts festivals due
largely to outstanding volunteer support. Consider donating
some of your time over Memorial Day Weekend, May 25-28,
2007. It's a great way to get the most from your Festival
experience.
Sign
up now! Download pdf Volunteer
application here. Online applications will be available
end of January.
Folklife
volunteers receive:
- A
special Festival button that provides free access
to the Festival hospitality area.
- An
invitation for you and a guest to a party recognizing
volunteer and performer contributions.
- A
discount voucher for Festival merchandise.
-
The knowledge that you are part of a caring community
that supports the arts.
Donations at the entrances make up nearly 20% of our
contributed income and are a critical piece of Northwest
Folklife's ability to produce the Festival year after
year. Consider volunteering to be a Greeter at the entrance
or to help at an Information Booth. Your participation
and talents exemplify the spirit of the Folklife Festival
and are invaluable to its success.
