Join us at the annual Celebrate Folklife Benefit Auction on November 8th! Feast on a delicious buffet provided by Foodz Catering, dash for your dessert and enjoy music from favorite Folklife performers. And that’s not all! Be one of the first to experience the 2009 cultural focus, the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition.

You will also have the chance to bid on exceptional items in three silent auctions, a live auction and a wine blitz. And don’t forget our spinning prize wheel! Here are some of the fabulous items up for bidding:

  • A trip for two to Tillicum Village
  • Framed photography by Johsel Namkung
  • A case of wines selected by the Northwest Folklife Board of Directors
  • Handmade Zuni pottery donated by Seciwa’s Southwest Native Jewelry and Crafts
  • Lunch and kayaking courtesy of Agua Verde Paddle Club

Northwest Folklife, founded in 1972, is an independent, nonprofit organization that promotes the cultural heritage of Pacific Northwest communities. Supported through individual donations, grants and sponsorships, Northwest Folklife is the most visible advocate of the traditional arts in the Northwest region. It presents the annual Memorial Day weekend Northwest Folklife Festival, education programs and other public programs. In addition, Northwest Folklife produces recordings, publications and exhibits and provides research and consulting services.
